Christopher Ellis
I'm Christopher Ellis. I am a local guy whose passion for food came about at a young age not knowing what I wanted to do, when I fell in love with cooking and how I could express myself through food.
For me food is as simple as this. If you start with great produce, locally-sourced and at it’s absolute best, then all I need to do to do it justice is cook it well… which I’m confident I can do.
I’ve worked all over the UK in some of the best restaurants/eatery’s and now just a stones through away from where I grew up. Being able to work at Todenham working alongside the butchers and game keepers is a chef’s paradise and I aim to create something special and unique here.

We serve breakfast every day from 9am, with a menu built around thoughtful cooking, quality ingredients, and the best produce we can source from our farm and trusted local partners.
The menu you see here is a recent example, but the dishes may be different when you visit. The one thing that doesn’t change is our commitment to quality and flavour.

Our restaurant sits on the historic 900-acre Todenham Manor Farm, where Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire and Warwickshire meet. This land once belonged to Westminster Abbey and has produced food for generations.
